Schedule Evaluation
A different kind of therapeutic relationship.
Parents often come to SensoVia after months of searching for answers—trying different strategies, feeling rushed, or wondering why therapy hasn't translated into meaningful progress at home.
At SensoVia, we take the time to understand your child's unique strengths, challenges, and goals so therapy becomes practical, collaborative, and relevant to your family's daily life.
The difference isn't the goal—it's how care is delivered.
Families often ask what makes SensoVia different from a traditional occupational therapy clinic. The difference isn't the goal—we all want children to succeed. The difference is how care is delivered.

Every family begins with a comprehensive evaluation so recommendations and intervention are thoughtfully tailored to your child's unique needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can occupational therapy really work through telehealth?
It's the question most parents ask first, and it's a fair one. Occupational therapy has long been associated with a clinic room full of equipment, so it's natural to wonder what's possible through a screen.
Here's what I've found: the goals of pediatric occupational therapy are almost always about everyday life. Getting dressed without a battle. Sitting through dinner. Holding a pencil. Managing the transition from school to home. Those things don't happen in a clinic — they happen in your kitchen, your bathroom, your child's bedroom.
In a telehealth session, we work in the place where the difficulty actually occurs, with your child's own materials and routines. And because you're present and participating, you're not receiving a summary of what happened in a session you didn't see. You're learning alongside your child, in real time, in the environment where the skill needs to hold.
That matters more than it might sound. One of the most persistent challenges in traditional therapy is carryover — a child performs a skill beautifully in the clinic and then can't do it at home. Telehealth removes that gap entirely, because home is where we start. A growing body of research supports telehealth delivery in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly when parents are actively involved.
Telehealth isn't the right fit for every child or every concern. If I don't think it's the appropriate level of support, I'll tell you directly and help you find what is.
What ages do you work with?
I work with children ages two through ten, and with their parents. If your child falls outside that range, reach out anyway — I'm glad to point you toward a provider who may be a better fit.
Do I need a referral or prescription from my pediatrician?
No. A referral is not required to schedule an evaluation. If you'd like me to coordinate with your child's pediatrician or share findings with them, I'm happy to do so with your written consent — many families find that helpful, but it's entirely your choice.
Do you accept insurance?
No. SensoVia Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance.
That's a deliberate choice. When care is shaped by insurance requirements, session length, frequency, and goals are often determined by what will be authorized rather than by what your child actually needs. Practicing privately means recommendations are guided by clinical reasoning and your family's real circumstances — nothing else.
Upon request, I can provide documentation you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though reimbursement is never guaranteed and depends entirely on your individual plan.
What does therapy cost?
Services are individualized, so pricing depends on what your child needs. We'll discuss it in full on your initial call, and you'll always know the complete cost before you're asked to make any decision.
Can you provide reports for my child's school or IEP team?
Yes. Following a comprehensive evaluation, you'll receive a written report you're welcome to share with your child's school, teachers, or IEP team, and I can communicate with them directly with your written consent. Attendance at school meetings can also be arranged.
One clarification: a private evaluation supplements a school district's own evaluation process — it doesn't replace it. It can, however, give the team a fuller picture of your child and strengthen the case for appropriate support.
Do you work with families outside Florida?
Clinical occupational therapy services — evaluations and individual therapy — are available only to families located in Florida, where I hold licensure.
The SensoVia Method™ is different. It's a parent education and coaching program, delivered entirely to you rather than to your child, and it's available to families anywhere. If you're outside Florida and looking to understand what's driving your child's sensory, emotional, or regulation challenges, that's the place to begin.
